Resolute's Covid Response

Our office appreciates your continued understanding and support as we continue to implement and update policies regarding COVID 19.

 

It is strongly encouraged that any unvaccinated clients or guests wear a mask while in our office. Masks will not be provided to you, so please plan to bring one with you. We encourage all vaccinated clients and guests to do what they are most comfortable with in regards to masking, and to discuss their and their provider’s comfort level with masks in session at their scheduled appointment.

 

When working with children who are not vaccinated, and with whom the provider may be in closer contact with (within 6 ft) due to the nature of play therapy, the provider will only be wearing a mask if the child or parent specifically asks the provider to do so.

Resolute Therapy, LLC reserves the right to ask any client or guest exhibiting cold, flu, or COVID symptoms to wear a mask or reschedule their appointment.

Resolute Therapy, LLC is continuing to offer both in person and telehealth sessions, but strongly encourage any client interested in telehealth to call their insurance company to determine whether telehealth is still being covered under their policy.

If there is a resurgence of the pandemic or if other health concerns arise, however, I may require that we meet via telehealth. If you have concerns about meeting through telehealth, we will talk about it first and try to address any issues. You understand that, if I believe it is necessary, I may determine that we return to telehealth for everyone’s well-being.

If you decide at any time that you would feel safer staying with, or returning to, telehealth services, I will respect that decision, as long as it is feasible and clinically appropriate. Reimbursement for telehealth services, however, is also determined by the insurance companies and applicable law, so that is an issue we may also need to discuss. If your insurance provider does not cover telehealth services, you will be liable for the session cost.
